Bio: How to Completely Tear Down a Fence
The fence replacement process isn't an easy one especially if you have no idea what you're doing. Javis Dumpster Rental is here to help with the fence removal process, no matter what the reason may be!

It may seem like demolishing your fence is going to take a long time, but if you follow these steps, you'll soon have it out of the way!

4 steps to tear down your fence:

1 Prep for removal
This is the day when you will tear down that old fencing of yours. The first step you need to take is to do some preparation work so the later stages are easier. Here's what you need to do before tearing down your fence:
Make some calls , Before you start tearing down your fence, youll want to call your utility company to ensure there are no major lines near or under your fence line, and if there is, youll want them to come and mark where they are so you dont cause any damage. It will also be a good idea to contact your local government to find out if you will need a permit to tear down your fence and rebuild it. The last step is to communicate your project with your neighbors.
The fence isn't as easily taken down as the paneling. Before you start tearing down the building, make sure you have all of the necessary tools to help make the process easier and safer.

2 Disassemble the gates
Following all your prep work, it is time to tear the building down. You should begin this process by removing your gates. By unscrewing the hinges from the gate posts, you can take the gates out and discard them in your dumpster. Javis Dumpster Rental comes into play here! Renting a dumpster from us makes it easier to tear down a fence than ever before.

3 Remove the panels
Once the gates are down, you can start taking down the fence panels. Rather than salvaging these panels, you can simply cut them off and put them in your dumpster if you do not wish to keep them. Assuming you plan to reuse the panels, you'll need to locate the attaching points, unfasten the rails from the posts, and pry the panels loose from each other.

4 Pull out the posts
The last and final step of tearing down your fence is to remove the posts that are cemented to the ground. The hardest part of the job is probably not what you think. Because the posts are rooted in the ground, you will have to grab the post, do some wiggling, get some traction, and pull as hard as you can. Please be extra careful while doing this!
