Bio: Do It Yourself Projects: Make Your Own Picasso Tiles. Both magnetic and Picasso tiles work differently. They can be more easily used and fit together better than traditional building materials. These materials will aid in the development of young children's minds and bodies. They also help with everyday skills such as problem solving. All this sounds great, but children learn best by doing. This does not mean they need to be taught everything. As such, it is important that parents offer support and information whenever necessary. The beauty of magnetic building tiles and magnetic puzzle toys is that children can be given an activity which they find interesting and which they can actively participate in. The children can engage with ideas and concepts, as well as being entertained. We purchased inexpensive magnetic tiles from a Spanish retailer to create magnetic puzzle toys and build magnetic children's buildings. These were thin transparent pieces made of plastic. We cut some of the pieces in half, and then joined them together using a magnet. We were able to assemble the magnetic construction. The toy's "base" was completed by attaching wooden magnetic pieces. We used two of our most precious wooden pieces (our "big kid" is about nine years old). This was the first time we built a construction as a DIY project. The pieces were glued to a board on which the magnetic pieces were attached. Finally, the toy block was complete! To create the final toy, it was just a matter attaching the plastic parts. The next step in our magnetic tiles was to join them together with metal rivets. Small metal rivets were used - the ones you use to attach your nails. This created a strong bond that allowed the plastic pieces to stick together. We attached three or four magnetic tiles together, leaving some of the thinner sections unconnected. Then, we put a coat of white paint on the back so that our child could paint the area she wanted. We added several more features to our magnetic tiles. We created shapes from some pipe insulation made of plastic. We placed the different magnet colors on top of each tile and arranged them in a manner that made them look like a picture. After painting, we covered all of the bottom of the woodenboard with black papers. Also, we placed a cardboard sheet with pictures on it over the blackboard so that children could decorate their magnetic blocks. The result was beautiful Picasso tiles, which matched the color scheme of the room. We found out that we could leave some pieces exposed when painting the room. We simply used small magnets to fix the pieces together. It made the pieces look like a puzzle and allowed them to come apart. Each piece now had a magnet. My son and his friends enjoyed this project together. We were extremely happy with the results. If you're interested in making your own Picasso tiles you can either use the small magnets available at any hardware shop or purchase pre-made tiles. Picasso tiles can be made in a few hours. You can make the tiles in just a few minutes if your skills include cutting plastic, gluing the pieces together and adding the final touches, such as magnets. A beautiful toy made from plastic can be created for your child in just an hour. If you are looking for a fun project for your child's next birthday, consider making a magnetic version of Picasso's famous "DT" painting. This painting is very well-liked by educational institutions. A magnetic version of the painting can be made for children. This will allow them to learn color by using a simple and inexpensive method. There are many websites that provide instructions for making the plastic pieces and step-by-step illustrations. You can also find many different shapes that you can combine with the various colors to create a variety of interesting designs. Just a few hours work and a few tiny magnets will allow you to create magnetic tiles that match both the color of your car or room. You will find that there are a lot of things that you can do with plastic magnets, including using them to craft gifts like scrapbooks, mouse pads, and even identification tags. If you're really stuck, the small magnets can be used to reposition damaged pieces of plastic. So, whether you are a child who loves to paint, or you are looking for a fun project for a kid's birthday party, consider making your own magnetic tiles.
